How can an engine additive reduce fuel consumption?

GRAPHENE BOOSTER®  promises a considerable reduction in fuel consumption thanks in particular to the graphene which is part of its composition. But exactly what role does lubrication play in the operation of an engine and how its optimization reduces fuel consumption and reduces pollutant emissions?

An engine lubricant plays an essential role in reducing fuel consumption and pollution by ensuring that all moving parts of an engine run smoothly and efficiently. Engine oil lubricates metal surfaces and reduces friction, reducing the amount of energy required to move engine components. When the engine runs with less friction, it requires less energy to operate, improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions.

First, a low viscosity motor oil, such as synthetic lubricants, can improve fuel efficiency by reducing the amount of energy needed to move engine components. When the oil is less viscous, it flows more easily and reduces drag, which reduces the amount of work the engine has to do to move parts and therefore requires less fuel.

Engine oil can also help reduce emissions of harmful pollutants such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide and particulate matter. Engine oil contains additives that help reduce the formation of deposits on engine surfaces, which can reduce engine efficiency and increase emissions. By keeping engine components clean, engine oil ensures that the engine runs efficiently, reducing pollutant emissions.

Engine oil can also help reduce the amount of pollutants emitted into the atmosphere during cold starts. When the engine is cold, it takes longer for the oil to reach all engine components, which can lead to increased emissions of harmful pollutants. Engine oil designed for cold weather conditions, such as winter grade oils, can flow more easily in cold weather and help reduce cold start emissions.

GRAPHENE BOOSTER® contains a low viscosity Mid SAPS high performance synthetic oil, supplemented with graphene, a nanomaterial with exceptional physical properties.

Graphene, despite the fact that it is composed of a single layer of atoms, is considered to be the strongest material available: It has a breaking strength 100 times higher than that of a steel layer of the same thickness. Graphene will be deposited on the internal metal walls of the engine creating a real carpet of a few atoms thick totally non-stick and stronger than diamond.

Graphene has an exceptionally high thermal conductivity (up to 5,000 W/MK at room temperature) that is significantly higher, for example, than copper ((402 W/MK) or aluminium ((237 W/MK). Thanks to GRAPHENE BOOSTER®, heat and oil are instantly diffused throughout the engine block.
